OXYMATIC START
9.1.
Automatic and manual position
In the automatic position Oxymatic works automatically. The control unit performs all the
functions that we have introduce in the programming.
In manual position you can change the schedule, we can turn on and off all the elements that
are connected to Oxymatic.
9.2.
Programming and start up.
OXYMATIC is now functioning and the next step is to check the parameters and adjust them if
necessary.
9.2.1.
Voltage of the electrodes. (Very important)
In order for the titanium electrodes to work at its full capacity and to ensure minimal waste,
they should be placed at a voltage of 9.5v, otherwise its life expectancy will be
reduced to only a few months.
To check the voltage, use the following screen
NOTE: The guarantee does not included the wearing out of the electrodes. It is
recommended that the voltage is Reddy on a weekly basis. (20 seconds).
In the case that the voltage of the electrodes is higher than 9.5v, you should add sea SALT
(NaCl) to the water (25-50 kg) depending on the size of the pool and volume of water.
Only at the starting and replenish if necessary. After adding the salt, the LEDs have to be
fixed, if flash is missing salt .
EXPLANATION; To lower the voltage of Titanium electrodes, either the water conductivity or
the amount of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) should be increased. This can be done using
various substances, but we recommend Sea Salt (NaCl) as it is cheap and easy to obtain. It
does not alter the pH of the water and it dissolves quickly without clouding the water.
NOTE: It is important to note that the higher the electrical conductivity or TDS in the water the
better. This way the voltage of the Titanium electrodes will be lower meaning less wear and
tear. Generally, for the system to work correctly, the TDS should be higher than 600ppm, or
the water conductivity should be higher than 1200 uS/cm.
9.2.2.
Level of Copper in the water
If we see that the level of copper of the pool (we recommend to use the Copper test kit) is
not adequate, we must ionize the water before to start the full operation.
