Here we can get full information on operation of the system. We can press any button; the relevant
function will activate automatically. Once we have ensured that everything is working properly, we
must return to the main page by pressing the BACK button, and restore the system to AUTO mode
10.5.2.
VERIFICATION OF THE PARAMETERS (STATUS REPORT)
The initial screen gives us full information on operation of the equipment. If anything fails to function
correctly, we will see the colour switch from GREEN to RED. The RED tells us there is problem
affecting that particular function, which we can correct. It is merely necessary to check where the
fault is located and to make the necessary changes, either at the programming screen (PROG), at
the GENERAL SETTINGS screen, or by resolving the possible problems (see the ‘Problems and
Solutions’ section of this manual).
10.5.3.
STATUS OF THE OXIDATION AND IONIZATION SYSTEMS
:
To verify the state of Titanium and Copper electrodes, it is merely necessary to look at the “STATUS
REPORT” screen, where we will get full information on the voltage and amps of our electrodes.
Voltage: The voltage applied to the pair of electrodes is being checked. The control unit applies a
voltage of max. 12 V. This varies according to the electric conductivity in the water (µS/cm) or the
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), ppm): the higher the electric conductivity in the water, the lower the
voltage applied.
NOTE: If the control unit does not apply any voltage to the electrodes, a technical review is
required.
Intensity: Amperage applied to each pair of electrodes that are being checked. ( wait a few seconds
until it can be read). You can verify the amount of maximum amperage for the development of the
electrodes.
If the intensity obtained in the OXIDATION is less than the maximum intensity that the electrodes can
work under, three things may occur:
That the electric conductivity in the water becomes too low. If this happens, by adding salt to the
water is sufficient.
Or that the electrodes have stains or deposits of metal precipitation, lime, etc……This problem is
solved by cleaning the electrodes as specified earlier in the section.
That the electrodes have suffered corrosion due to a bad chemically balanced water(not within the
parameters), because this cause is not under OXYMATIC warranty.
