Real-time Diagnostics
The iRIS allows for the user to monitor its operation, the communications daughter boards (if fitted) and the SDI-12 Bus in
real time. This can be achieved either over the inbuilt Wi-Fi, cellular or Serial Daughterboard.
This feature can be found in the Advance ribbon of iLink and then clicking on the Diagnostics button.
Initially the diagnostic screen will not show any information, the appropriate sources and level need to be chosen by the
user.
There are three levels of diagnostic information:
Information
– regular statements about operation of the given source.
Warning\Error
– this indicates an unexpected event occurring.
There are four message sources (or Message Types):
General – this relates to general operation of the iRIS, for example digital output schedules.
