Pressure Relief Valve Adjustments
The Pressure Relief Valve governs the maximum system hydraulic
pressure. It is located on the backside of the pump. The pressure relief
valve is factory set and may need to be adjusted depending on the
gate weight.
Pressure relief valve adjustments establish the threshold for the
inherent entrapment sensor (IES). The optimal pressure setting
produces uniform gate travel and trips the IES when the gate
encounters an obstruction.

Open Valve
The open valve is solenoid operate`d and, when energized, directs the hydraulic flow to open the gate. No
adjustment of this valve is possible or necessary. The black solenoid coil mounts on its valve stem.
HydraSwing Hydraulic Cylinder Maintenance
The hydraulic cylinder requires little maintenance other
than applying NLGI #2 Grade Moly EP (Extreme Pressure)
lithium base grease to zerk fittings at the intervals shown
in the table on the following page.
NOTE:
To apply grease, the gate must be in the Open position.
