Resetting the open and close limits is easily accomplished by accessing the Installer Menu.
Access to the Installer Menu is through the User Menu. See the flowchart below.
Learn Close Limits
Learn Close appears and blinks, indicating that the operator is ready to learn its close limit. Follow one of the
two procedures shown in the bullets:
• The gate is already in the desired closed position – press Stop twice. The buzzer chirps twice and the
full close stop is retained in memory.
• The gate is not in the desired closed position - press and hold the Close button until the HydraSwing
moves the gate to full close. Release the Close button and press Stop twice. The buzzer chirps twice
and the full close stop is retained in memory.
NOTE:
During this process, you can press and hold Open to reverse direction and adjust the gate position.
Learn Open Limits
1. When the Learn Open display appears, hold the Open button until the gate reaches the desired full
open position.
2. Release the Open button. Note that if you go too far, you can press Close to reverse direction.
3. Press Stop twice to preserve the open stop location. The buzzer chirps twice and the full open stop is
retained in memory.

To access the Installer Menu,
press and hold Reset & Open,
and then release them.
Press Next until “LL”
appears., Then Select. The
“LL” characters blink.
To activate the learn limits
function, press Next which
changes the display to LL 1.
Press Select. The
Learn Close blinks in
the display indicating
that the operator is
ready to relearn the
closed limit.
