3.3.2 Basic Operations
Powering On/Off
Connect the repeater to a DC source to turn the repeater on. During power-up
process, the Power Indicator glows green and the repeater shows the power-on
screen.
To turn the repeater off, disconnect it from the DC source.
Adjusting the Volume
In analog mode: rotate the
Volume Control
knob clockwise to increase the volume
or counter-clockwise to decrease the volume.
In digital mode: the speaker is muted, so this knob does not work.
Adjusting the Power Level
The TX power can be configured via CPS by the dealer. High power can expand
repeater coverage, enabling you to communicate with terminals in the distance.
There are two levels available: High (indicated by H) and Low (indicated by L).
Backlight
Activating the backlight can illuminate the LCD and all the front panel keys, which
facilitates operation. The customers can set the work status of the backlight via CPS.
You can select one of the following statuses.
Timed: operation on any key or knob can illuminate the backlight. If there is no
operation on the product within the specified time, the backlight will go out
automatically.
Never turn off: the backlight remains activated all the time.
Locking/Unlocking
You can request your dealer to lock the knob and all keys on the front panel to
prevent accidental operations. To unlock, the repeater must be re-programmed by
your dealer.
