encode the received audio data and transmit it as the digital signal. Thus the digital
radios within the communication coverage area can receive the call. On the other
hand, the analog mobile radio can transmit the received analog audio data to other
mobile radios at other frequencies via the accessory pins, and then trigger the PTT
of the analog mobile radio to transmit this analog signal. Thus, all analog radios
within the communication coverage area can receive this call. When the analog
radio transmits the audio signal, the analog mobile radio will receive this signal,
transmit it to the digital mobile radio, and activate the PTT for transmission. In this
case, the signal the digital mobile radio transmits is the digital signal, to achieve
analog-to-digital conversion.
