4.1.3 Telemetry
In direct mode, Telemetry is a function, which allows you to stay in control of your
device remotely. To send the telemetry command properly, it shall satisfy these
conditions: both TX and RX frequencies are consistent, the color codes are identical,
and the radio is programmed properly. . The third party is responsible for developing
the interface of the external device for using telemetry feature. Once the potential
difference of GPIO Pin port in the connected radio changes, the telemetry command
will be triggered. Or, if the potential difference of GPIO Pin port in the radio changes,
the status of the external equipment will change as well. Telemetry is used to
achieve the following functions.
Querying the status of remote telemetry equipment
Querying the status of remote telemetry device
Source radio:
1) Send a query command to the target radio to check the GPIO status of remote
terminal, so as to get the status of telemetry equipment.
Note that the query
command shall be sent via private call.
2) Receive the query result and get the status of telemetry device.
Target radio:
1) Receive the query command.
2) Retrieve the status information of telemetry device.
3) Send GPIO status to the source radio sending the query command.
You can also use this feature to check the status of your desired device remotely
such as the door.
