OPERATION
BEFOR OPERATION CHECKS
Warning!
For your safety, and to maximize the service life of your equipment, it is very important to
take a few moments before you operate the engine to check its condition. Be sure to take
care of any problem you find, or have your servicing dealer correct it.
Before beginning your pre-operation checks, be sure the engine stop switch is in the OFF position.
Always check the following items before you start the engine:
Cutting head correct mount
Switches easy run
The ignition plug safely mounted. If the plug is loose, sparkle and subsequent ignition of fuel-air
mixture may occur.
Make sure that handgrips are clean so that scythe may be led safely.
The cutting head must move freely.
Check and adjust the harness to suit for your body size.
Check the damage of parts including the cutting device.
To reduce fire hazards, keep the engine and silencer free of debris, leaves and excessive
lubricant.
WARNING!
If in doubt when putting the machine in operation, take advice from a professional of an
