A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent overheating. When an overheat temperature
is reached, the heater will be automatically shut off. It can only resume operation when the
user resets the unit.
If the heater does not switch on, the safety device has been activated. Remove the mains
plug from the wall socket. Let the heater cool down for 30 minutes. Check if the heater had
been placed correctly. Check if anything is obstructing the air flow. If necessary, clean the
grilles with a vacuum cleaner. Replace the plug into the wall socket and switch the heater on
again.
NOTE
During the first use, there may be a smell and smoke. Do not worry, this means that a drop of oil
has fallen on the heating element during production. The drop will quickly evaporate - the
appearance of smell and smoke will no longer occur.
