Compact disc (CD) operations
Inserting and removing discs
Press any of the DISC SELECT buttons to switch to the CD mode. Press any of the CD OPEN/CLOSE
buttons to open the desired CD-door. Carefully place a compact disc (CD or MP3) onto the center
spindle with the label side facing outwards. Press any of the CD OPEN/CLOSE buttons to close the CD-
door. The CD-display will show the total number of tracks on the disc after a few seconds. The CD will
automatically start playing. To remove a disc, press any of the CD OPEN/CLOSE buttons. The door will
open upwards allowing the removal of the CD inside.
CD playback
When the CD is in, the disk will start spinning and the first track will start playing. The display will
indicate the current track number.
During playback, press PLAY/PAUSE button to pause operation of the unit. Press PLAY/PAUSE
button to resume operation at the same track and position.
During playback, press STOP button to stop operation of the set. This will reset the set to the first
track (if you press play after stop, the first track will start playing).
During playback, press NEXT or BACK buttons to skip forward or backward by one track.
During playback, press and hold NEXT or BACK buttons to fast-forward or fast-reverse the current
track.
Programming the CD-player
The unit can be programmed to play any sequence of up to 64 tracks. Always press STOP button before
starting the programming. Press PROG/CLOCK ADJ button, the display will show the MEMORY
symbol to indicate that the set is now in “memory programming mode”.
For CD-audio discs:
Press NEXT or BACK buttons to select the track number you wish to be stored in the current
memory (program) position.
Press PROG/CLOCK ADJ button to confirm your selection.
Repeat the previous 2 steps, each time selecting any track number of your choice to be stored in
successive (program) positions.
After a maximum of 64 or less track have been selected as described above, press PROG/CLOCK
ADJ button, the display will now show MEMORY to indicate you have saved a program-memory.
Press PLAY/PAUSE button, the unit will playback the saved files in the programmed sequence.
To clear (cancel) the entire program, which is stored in the memory, press STOP button, this will
reset the memory and clear the program.
For CD-MP3 data discs:
Press NEXT or BACK buttons to select the album (folder directory) number, which contains the
track you wish to select.
Press PROG/CLOCK ADJ button to confirm.
Press NEXT or BACK buttons to select the track number you wish to be stored in the current
memory (program) position.
Press PROG/CLOCK ADJ button to confirm your selection.
Repeat the previous 4 steps, each time selecting any album and track number of your choice to be
stored in successive (program) positions.
After a maximum of 64 or less tracks have been selected as described above, press PROG/CLOCK
ADJ button, the display will now show MEMORY to indicate you have saved a program-memory.
Press PLAY/PAUSE button, the unit will playback the saved files in the programmed sequence.
Press STOP button to escape memory playback temporarily. Press PROG/CLOCK ADJ button to
resume memory playback.
To modify a specific song in a particular memory position, simply save a new song over the same
memory position.
To clear (cancel) the entire program, which is stored in the memory, open the CD door.
