5.3 - General Inspection
1. Look for fuel leaks around the fuel tank, fuel hose, and fuel valve. Close
the fuel valve and repair leaks immediately.
2. Look and listen for exhaust leaks while the engine is running. Have all
the leaks repaired before continuing operation.
3. Check for dirt and debris and clean as necessary
4. Check the engine oil level and add oil as necessary.
Do not use gasoline or low flash point solvents for cleaning. They are flammable
and could explode under certain conditions.
5.4 - Air Filter Service
Using gasoline or other flammable solvents can cause a fire or explosion. Clean
the air filter using soapy water or a non-flammable cleaner. Do not operate this
product without an air filter.
1. Remove the metal cover on the canopy.
2. Remove the screw on the outside of the air filter cover.
3. Remove the screw on the air filter element and carefully remove the filter
element.
4. Clean the filter using warm water. do not use chemicals or detergents.
Wring out excess water or solvent and allow filter to air-dry.
5. Replace element as needed - do not reinstall a damaged filter. Replace
the filter after the first 100 hours of use (requires replacing every 500
hours after that). Replace filter every 100 hours (50 hours in dusty
environment area)
6. Fasten filter to the assembly using the supplied screw and place the
cover element on top.
7. Place metal canopy and fasten all required screws. do not operate
