5) Adjust the flow rate by the valve V-18.
Set the initial setting of the valve opining refer to table 5.1. After the operating conditions get
stable, adjust the valve finely to such an extent cooling capacity may not drop (the indicator
should be chilled water outlet temperature).

6) No adjustment is needed because orifices are installed at the low pressure generator drain and
the condensed refrigerant line. Be sure to check through the sight glass if the solution level in the
evaporator or abnormal, such as refrigerant stays too much in the evaporator. Adjustment
indexes at rated cooling operation are shown in the following (the figures in ( ) show indexes at
rated heating operation).

Above is a reference for adjustment. Since the operating conditions is affected by the non-
condensable gas in the chiller-heater especially at the initial operation, perform purge operation
