Battery status indicator
The battery status indicator will appear on the display once the battery level is critical. A battery
symbol will appear next to the indoor temperature figure with the charging indicator for the main
unit. The same symbol for the respective displayed sensor will appear beside the outdoor tem
-
perature figure. If necessary, replace the battery and proceed as when you put the unit into
operation for the first time.
Temperature alarm
The temperature alarm will switch on when the set outdoor temperature is exceeded or not
reached according to your preference. To set the temperature alarm, please first set the number
of the sensor, for which the alarm is to be activated – when only one sensor is used, the sensor
number is already displayed. Now hold the “ALARM” button pressed for 3 seconds and set the
desired limit values by the arrow buttons. Confirm always by short press of the “ALARM” button.
Alarm is then activated by short press of the “ALARM” button. A symbol with arrows (up/down)
will appear on the display below the “Channel” box. The alarm may be deactivated by short
press of the “ALARM” button and the symbol disappears.

Setting the alarm time
Press and hold the “ALARM” button: “AL” will appear in the display and the hours figure will
be blinking. Adjust the desired value by the arrow buttons and confirm by the “ALARM” button.
Then the minutes figure will start blinking – adjust the desired value by arrow buttons and con

firm by the “ALARM” button. Now the alarm time is set.
Activating the alarm
Press shortly the “ALARM” button – a bell symbol appears on the display and the alarm func
-
tion is activated. To disable alarm, press the ALARM” button shortly again; the bell symbol will
disappear.
Snooze alarm
If you activate the SNOOZE ALARM function by the “SNOOZE” button, the alarm will sound
every 5 minutes.
To mount the unit on the wall
, use the opening on the cover back side.
Outdoor sensor installation
– please adhere to the following:
Do not place the sensor under direct sunshine, but in a shadowy place.
Select a place where the sensor is not directly exposed to rain.
The sensor must be in contact with the main unit, the maximum operation range is 30 m. To
hang the sensor, use the opening in the cover; to adjust it, move the stand on the back side
down in the arrow direction and the pull it out.
Instructions for waste disposal and for environment protection
Batteries
Do not throw batteries in household waste!
Each consumer is legally responsible to dispose batteries in a proper way!
The batteries may not get in contact with children (there is a danger of swallowing them), thrown
in fire, short-circuited or disassembled. Otherwise the batteries may leak and damage the unit.
If battery leakage is imminent, remove the battery immediately to prevent damaging the unit.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucosa. When you touch the acid leaking from the battery,
rinse the affected spot with sufficient volume of water and/or see a doctor!
