Instructions for Use

Before first use

Before the scales is being used for the first time, please remove the insulation tap in the battery

Compartment. Fit the glass plate onto the centre axis with the centre bolt.

Instructions for use

Place the scales on a flat and hard surface.

To weigh recipe ingredients, place a suitable bowl or container on the platform. solid ingredi

-

ents may be put directly onto the scales glass platform.

To switch the unit on, press ON key. The 0.0 symbol appears in the display.

Add the ingredients to the bowl (or other accessory) used, until the desired weight is 

displayed.

To add more ingredients without first emptying the container. The “tare” key may be pressed.

In this way, only weight of the additional ingredients is displayed.

After use, the scales may be switched off by holding down “on/tare key”. However, the unit will 

switch off automatically if no key is pressed within 60 second.

The display can be switched between grams (gm) and ounces(oz)by using the appropriate 

buton UNIT(P1).

Batteries

The symbol appears if the battery needs replacing.

To insert or replace the battery, open the battery compartment located underneath the unit. 

When insert the battery, always observe the correct polarity. the )must face upwards. 

Use one 3V lithium battery type CR2032.

During extended periods of non-use, always remove the battery from battery compartment.
