OVERVIEW OF ALL PLANT SENSORS ON THE BASE STATION
In the display of the base station indication of the moisture level appears in the form of a bar
diagram in steps from 1= DRY to 4 = WET (very damp) for all registered plant sensors. If a plant
sensor detects earth that is too dry this is shown visually by a flashing bar. If the plant sensor
registers earth that is sufficiently damp after watering, this is shown by 2, 3 or 4 bars that are no
longer flashing.
DETAILED VIEW OF A PLANT SENSOR ON THE DISPLAy OF THE BASE STATION
On the base station there is a detailed view of each plant sensor. Press the CH PLANT key to
switch between the individual plant sensors.Again the display shows the bar diagram in steps of
1= DRY to 4 = WET (very damp). Again the soil characteristics are shown on the base station by
four flower symbols.
WET:
4 (Flower in the home unit will show flashing sweat)
MED:
3 (Flower shows smiling face)
MED:
2 (Flower shows smiling face)
DRy:
1 (Flower shrink and water icon flash)
ALARM (ACOUSTIC AND VISUAL) ON THE DISPLAy OF THE BASE STATION
The base station also indicates earth that is too dry (= 1 bar) with two signal tones/minute, and
the 1 (((o))) symbol flashes (visual alarm). To deactivate this signal tone for all plant sensors,
press the (((o))). key briefly. The (((o))) symbol disappears. To re-activate this acoustic alarm for
all plant sensors, press the (((o))) key briefly. The (((o))) symbol appears on the display.
Note that the signal tone is factory activated.
MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC CHANGING OF THE PLANT SENSOR CHANNEL INDICATION
ON THE BASE STATION DISPLAy
If you have registered two to five plant sensors, press the CH PLANT key to change from one
channel to the next. If the display shows a curved arrow then the channels are automatically
shown one after the other.
REGISTRATION OTHERS SENSOR PLANT
There are only 2 sensors plant provided. For an additional plant sensor use the channel selector
to select a free channel (1 5) on which each plant sensor will transmit.
To re-register the plant sensor on the base station, press the CHANNEL PLANT button on the
main receiver unit and than the ALARM ON/OFF button on the back of the plant sensor in order
to send the transmission signal manually.
