Personal protective equipment
Protective equipment
Use protective equipment that is:
• Suitable for the operations to be carried out;
• Resistant to the cleaning products used.
Clothes
Observe the following indications when choosing the clothes to wear:
• The clothes must fit tightly;
• Avoid ties, necklaces or belts, which could get caught up in the
moving parts.
ATTENTION
When necessary, tie up your hair in a suitable manner to avoid it
getting caught up in the moving parts.
Safety regulations
ATTENTION
Before beginning to perform any operations on the machine, the
operator and/or authorised maintenance technicians must wear
the Personal Protective Equipment indicated in table 3-1.
The clothes worn, and the protective devices used, must meet
the requisites of Directive 89/686/EEC with regard to Personal
Protective Equipment.
Tightly-fitting clothes.
During all work and maintenance phases.
Safety shoes with toe cap.
During all work and maintenance phases.
Protective gloves.
During all work and maintenance phases.
