QUICK SETUP GUIDE
I.H.T. 707 Digital Door Lock
STEP 1 – PREPARATION WORK
1. Please locate the following items from the Settlement Package:

2 x Smart Cards
•
2 Mechanical Keys

The mechanical keys are not intended for daily use. These are for last resort only.
Please keep somewhere safe. The Smart Cards have been pre-programmed as
admin users for your lock.
STEP 2 – ADD ADMIN PASSCODE
2.1
Touch
the glass panel to wake up the lock and
Press & Hold
‘*’ for 3 seconds,
you
will hear the following voice prompt: ‘
Please add administrator
’.
2.2.
Key in
6-8 digits and then
Press
‘#’. Follow the voice prompt and key in the
passcode and ‘#’ again. Please do not use repetitive number (e.g. 111111) or
sequential numbers (e.g. 234567).

The first three access methods added are set as admin users. The two Smart
Cards have been pre-programmed as admin users. The passcode you have just
entered is also set as a admin user. Admin users have the authority to modify access
methods for the lock.
STEP 3 – ADD FINGERPRINTS
3.1
Touch
the glass panel to wake up the lock and
Press & Hold
‘*’ for 3 seconds,
you will hear the following voice prompt: ‘
Please verify administrator’.
3.2
Key in
the Admin Passcode you have set up and
Press
‘#’, you will hear the
following voice prompt: ‘
Please add user’.
3.3
Place
your finger on the fingerprint reader on the handle and follow the voice
prompt. You will be asked to place the same fingerprint three times. Please wait for
the voice prompt when you add the fingerprint and try to press with the same area of
your finger.
3.4
Repeat
the same process if you wish to add multiple fingerprints. Once complete
please quit the process by press ‘*’.

You may encounter fingerprint recognition failure when place your finger on the
sensor with different area or different angel. It is RECOMMENDED to add the same
fingerprint a few times using different areas of your fingertip. It will increase
significantly the recognition rate. Please also wipe off any sweat or oil when using the
fingerprint to access.
