Displaying the docking station in macOS
CONNECTING A HDMI / DP MONITOR
To connect a monitor to the docking station, use an HDMI / DP cable (it is
recommended to use cable version 2.0 and higher for HDMI and DP 1.4 and higher
for DP). The screen of your laptop / tablet may

ash while the external monitor
is installing. This is normal. The docking station supports the connection of a
maximum of two monitors. Display interface: 1x HDMI and 1x DP.
1 monitor connected through 1 DisplayPort cable – resolution of up to 8K
7680x4320/30 Hz or 1 monitor through 1 HDMI cable – resolution of up to 4K
4096x2160@60 Hz.
8K resolution is supported only if the Thunderbolt™ 3 connector of your laptop
supports DisplayPort 1.4.
