3. Orientate the CPU and socket, aligning the yellow
triangle on the corner of the CPU with the triangle
on the socket. Making sure the CPU is perfectly
horizontal; insert the CPU into the socket. Close the
load plate, lower the CPU socket lever and lock in
place.
4. Spread an even layer of thermal compound on
the CPU die.
Install the ICE Module
Note:
Please do not use too much Heatsink compound.
1. Place the ICE the module on top of the CPU and alig the spring-
loaded screws with the mainboard mounting holes.

2. Screw the ICE module to the mainboard. Note
to press down on the opposite diagonal corner
ng each screw.
3. Attach the fan power connector to the extension
cable connected to the mainboard.

4. Fasten the Smart Fan to the chassis with the four
thumbscrews.
