Working with SIMOLINK signals in ibaPDA
11.1
Analog signal table
In order to capture SIMOLINK signals, it is necessary to complete the signal table in
ibaPDA. The signal table contains all analog signals to be captured from the SIMOLINK
bus.
Important note
Make sure, that the parameter set of SIMOLINK is identical to the parameter set of the
ibaBM-SLM device.
Assign unique parameters to the signals. These parameters are:
Signal
name
Unit (e. g. °C or °F, Ampere, Volt, N etc.)
Gain and Offset (The values „Gain“ and „Offset“ (signal value at zero point) de-
termine the inclination and position of a linear characteristic curve for scaling).
Address (SLB slave address; address of the signal source in the SIMOLINK net-
work, possible values: 0 to 204).
Channel (signal channel of the corresponding address in the SIMOLINK network,
possible values 0 to 7).
Data Type (Data type of the signal in SIMOLINK, possible types INT LOW, INT
HIGH, DINT, FLOAT).
Activate the channels (acquisition channels)
Actual (Actual value of the signal or actual signal value from a data base)
