2.1 Installation / Replacement
For the FWA8800 hot-swappable HDD (only available for FWA8800-SHD), or
the IBN Network Interface Modules installations, you can directly install
without remove the device cover.
For the memory, M.2, PCIe expansion card or the optional IPMI module, you
need to remove 8 screws as shown below to pull out the lid.
This is illustrated by the example of FWA8800-SHD
Configuration inside:
Areas A allows for NIC modules and
2.5” how-swappable HDD/SSD. Area B-1
allows for optional internal two 2.5” or one 3.5” HDD/SSD and Area B-2 is for
an expansion card installation.
