IBC Technologies Inc. warrants each boiler to be free from defects in material and workmanship in accord with the following terms,
conditions and periods:
Coverage:
1.
Within one year after original installation of the boiler the
First Year Warranty
covers repair or
replacement of all parts found to suffer from manufacturing defect.
2.
During the second through twelfth year after original installation, the
Phase 2 Warranty
covers repair or
replacement of the heat exchanger if found to be defectively manufactured, at a cost to the owner equal to the
percentage indicated below of the manufacturer's then list price for replacement parts.

In the absence of suitable proof of installation date (Sales Receipt or warranty registration), the specified
warranty period will commence 30 days after the date of manufacture.
4.
This warranty extends only to boilers in space heating applications, which have been properly installed,
operated and maintained. This warranty is not transferable and applies to the original owners at the original
installation site. IBC Technologies Inc. makes no express warranties other than the warranties contained herein.
Exclusions
1.
The First Year Warranty excludes:
a.
All labour charges asserted by any person in connection with the inspection, repair and/or replacement of
parts claimed to be defective.
b.
Malfunction of parts due to improper application, delivery, installation maintenance or operation
c.
Failures resulting from abuse, accident, negligence, freezing or acts of God.
d.
Damage caused by hard water, scale build-up, excessive oxygenation or external leakage.
2.
The Phase 2 Warranty excludes all of the Part 1 items as listed immediately above plus sheet metal (case
and brackets), insulation, electrical and mechanical components furnished to IBC by other manufacturers, such as
transformers, controls, relays, gauges etc. Such components may be subject to warranties from their respective
manufacturers; IBC and its representatives will take reasonable efforts to assist consumers in achieving performance
of any such warranties which may apply to such components.
3.
IBC Technologies requires that all alleged defective parts be returned through trade channels and
replacement parts will, if warranty conditions are met, be provided by IBC through the wholesaler. In this case, the
cost of shipment to IBC is for the account of the customer.
Procedure for warranty service
For warrant service, contact your installing contractor with the following information: model and serial numbers, and date of installation.
The installing contractor will notify the wholesaler or representative from whom the boiler was purchased. All alleged defective parts must
be returned through trade channels and replacement parts will if warranty conditions are met, will be provided by IBC through the
wholesaler or relevant representative. If there are any questions about the coverage of this warranty, please contact IBC at the address
shown below.
Legal rights
No other party is authorized to make any other warranties on IBC's behalf. No other warranty expressed, implied (including warranty of
fitness for a particular purpose) is made. This warranty does not extend to liability for incidentals, special or consequential damage.
This warranty gives the owner specific legal rights; other rights may be available and will vary by province or state.
