Keep the ventilation slots clean
and free
from obstructions. If possible, blow compressed air into the vents
to clear any internal dust
(safety goggles must be worn when under-
taking this process).
Accumulation of dust in the motor or on the
base may cause a malfunction of the tool.
Never use chemical cleaners to clean your tool.
Wipe it clean with a dry cloth.
We recommend using the original package for covering the
product or suitable means to protect it against dust.
Before and after each use, check the product and accessories (or
attachments) for wear and damage.
Inspecting planer blade;
Check the cutting blade carefully for
cracks or dull/damage before and after each use. Continuing to
use a dull blade may cause a dangerous kickback and/or motor
overload. Dressing could be suitable or replace with a new blade
as soon as it no longer cuts effectively.
