Winterizing and Vacationing
If you are taking a vacation or leaving your spa unused for more than a week,
you should take a few simple precautions. Leave the spa covered with the
plastic clips locked. Leave the turbo wave pump off and set the temperature set
point low. This will allow the water pump and heaters to turn on occasionally to
filter the water and protect it from freezing. Upon returning, and before using
the spa, check the bromine and pH levels.
Storing Your Spa
The spa may be stored in its original box. Make sure all water is drained
from the spa and the power pack. We recommend the use of a wet/dry vacuum
to blow or suck all the water from the spa fittings and the power pack. Care
must be taken in cold weather as the vinyl will become stiff and brittle when the
temperature falls below 0ºF.
