Ensure that you have loaded the
network drivers.

Check all connections at the adapter
and the hub.

Try another port on the hub.

If you forced duplex mode, ensure that
you also force the speed to either 10 or
100 Mbps.

Ensure that the hub port is configured
for the correct speed, 10 or 100 Mbps.

For Wake on LAN mode, the LNK LED
is on even if the PC is powered off,
indicating that the adapter is ready to
receive a Wake on LAN packet. If the
LNK LED does not light, verify that your
Wake on LAN power cable is correctly
connected. See “Connecting Your Wake
on LAN Cables” on page 2-4 for more
information.
ACT LED does not light.

idle, try sending data from the
workstation.

Try another adapter if the adapter is not
transmitting or receiving data.
Data is corrupted or
sporadic.
Ensure that you are using category 5 cabling
