Using your IBM PC
Readme files
Another type of online information is available in
README.TXT files. These files usually come with
programs and contain information about additional
features. README.TXT files also may contain
instructions about setting up the program to run most
efficiently.
Installing programs
Some programs might have been provided with your
computer either on CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, or preinstalled
on your hard disk. The titles vary by model and by
country or region. To locate the programs installed on
your hard disk, do the following:

. You see a listing of programs and
folders containing programs.
Some entertainment programs that may have come
with your computer may contain language not suitable
for children. The Entertainment Software Review Board
(ESRB), has reviewed many software programs and
maintains a list of program titles and ratings. To find a
rating for a program, contact the ESRB Web site at
http://www.esrb.org
