Pull the PSU out using the provided handle. (The PSU wiring is designed to detach automatically
when the PSU is pulled from the chassis).
3.
Replace the failed PSU with another PSU.
4.
Push the new PSU into the power bay until you hear a click.
Install an SFP+ / QSFP optical module
1.
Log in to the device as
localadmin
.
2.
At the command prompt, type
poweroff
.
3.
Remove the SFP+ / QSFP module from the packaging.
4.
Remove the black plastic protective cap from the optical side of the module.
5.
Insert the module into the network card until it clicks into place.
6.
Insert the fiber optic cable into the SFP+ / QSFP module.
7.
Restart system and configure the network interface. For more information, see the Appliance
Configuration Guide.
Battery removal and installation
Battery removal
To remove the Onboard battery, follow these steps:
1.
Power off your system and unplug your power cable.
2.
Locate the Onboard battery, as shown in the figure.
3.
Using a tool such as a pen or a small screwdriver, push the battery lock outwards to unlock it. When
unlocked, the battery pops out from the holder.
4.
Remove the battery, as shown in the following figure.
