Switches the printer to the high speed mode. This setting is done by a
line as a unit. If this control code is included in the middle of a line, the
lines following are printed in the high speed mode.
If the printer is already in the high speed mode, this code is ignored.
The high speed mode takes precedence over the uni-directional printing
mode. Upon reception of this code, the printer enters the bi-directional
printing mode. The printer resumes uni-direcional printing if it receives a
high speed mode cancel command.
Note: This code is ignored if a speed higher than normal speed is
selected during initialization or by using operation panel switches.

Cancels the high speed mode. This control code is done by a line as a

performed. The form is fed to the TOF of the next page. If the printing
position is already TOF, this command is ignored.

Prints single byte characters after this control code condensed horizon-
tally. Character pitch becomes 18 cpi, regardless of the current setting.
The double byte character pitch is not changed.
