Step 10
(from Step 1 and 9)
The xy value in SRN 409-Axy or 409-Bxy is the hex value for the Power Status Register
byte. Line 2 of the operator panel display identifies the unit that contains the error. The bits
in the Power Status Register are defined as follows:
8 4 2 1 8 4 2 1 = Hex value of bits
7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 = Bit numbering
over / under voltage on +5, +12, +5 mem, or +3.6 volts
overload (over current) on +5, +12, +5 mem, +3.6, or +3.3 volts
overload, over/under voltage on +/–12 volts, Standby fault
250 volt undervoltage
display power on/off status
first level over temperature detected by the power supply
second level over temperature detected by the power supply
overload, over/under voltage on +5 volts, Standby fault
For example, 56 (0101 0110) represents bits 6, 4, 2, and 1. A zero indicates the active
state.
Is bit 6 or bit 7 a zero?
NO
