This chapter gives a general overview of the Aptiva Machine Type 2158/2163/
2164, describes the standard and optional features, and details functional and
environmental specifications.
Product Overview
Machine Types 2158, 2163 and 2164 have two PCI slots and one PCI/ISA
shared slot. The 2158 system supports the AMD K6 processor family while the
2163 supports the Pentium II and Celeron processors. On the other hand the
2164 system supports the Pentium II and Pentium III processors.
All the machine types support Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP), which allows
all installed system memory to be used as texture memory, yielding a huge
texture footprint to enhance 3D graphical display performance.
Listed below are 2158, 2163 and 2164 system features:
