Power
Supply
Before
performing
the
following
procedure,
read
the
“Safety
Considerations”
on
page
41.
Removal
Attention:
Do
not
remove
two
power
supplies
at
the
same
time
if
performing
hot-plug
procedures.
Power
supplies
are
considered
as
hot-pluggable
FRUs
only
if
you
remove
one
power
supply
at
a
time.
The
power
supplies
can
be
removed
from
the
front
of
the
I/O
subsystem.
1.
Disconnect
the
power
cord
from
the
power
supply.
2.
Unlatch
the
power
supply
handle
and
rotate
the
handle
downward
to
unseat
the
power
supply.
Attention:
Do
not
remove
a
power
supply
for
more
than
four
minutes.
If
you
cannot
replace
the
power
supply
in
less
than
four
minutes,
shut
down
the
system
and
then
remove
the
power
supply.
3.
Pull
the
power
supply
straight
out
from
the
I/O
subsystem.
Replacement
To
replace
the
power
supply,
perform
the
steps
in
the
removal
procedure
in
reverse
order.
