IBM posts performance results for BladeCenter server based on Intel Core 
Microarchitecture  
 

June 26, 2006 ... IBM® BladeCenter® HS21 blade servers, based on Intel® Core

TM

 

Microarchitecture, use the latest and fastest Dual Core Intel Xeon® Processor 5160 (3.00GHz, 
4MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB) to deliver high performance and excellent server function. (1) 
 
The HS21 blade server has demonstrated competitive performance on SPEC CPU2000, which 
comprises the SPEC CINT2000 and SPEC CFP2000 benchmark suites. These results were 
achieved using Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003 (32-bit).  
 
The scores in the following table are the first SPEC CPU2000 results published for this processor 
model.
