Setup
If
you
have
made
any
changes
and
not
saved
them,
the
program
will
prompt
you
to
save
the
changes

exit
without
saving
the
changes.
Using
passwords
You
can
use
any
combination
of
up
to
seven
characters
(A–Z,
a–z,
and
0–9)
for
the
user
(power-on)
password
or
the
administrator
password.
When
you
have
set
one
or
both
of
the
passwords,
record
the
passwords
and
keep
them
in
a
secure
place.
If
both
a
user
and
administrator
password
are
set,
you
can
type
either
password
at
the
password
prompt
that
appears
as
you
start
your
computer.
However,
if
you
want
to
change
the
settings
in
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program,
you
must
type
the
administrator
password
to
access
the
full
configuration
menus.
If
you
type
the
user
password,
you
can
only
view
limited
information
in
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program.
Keep
a
record
of
your
password
in
a
secure
place.
If
you
forget
the
user
or
administrator
password,
you
can
regain
access
to
the
computer
through
one
of
the
following
methods:
v
If
you
have
forgotten
the
user
password
and
an
administrator
password
is
set,
type
the
administrator
password
at
the
power-on
prompt.
Start
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program
and
change
the
user
password.
v
Clear
CMOS
settings
by
changing
the
position
of
the
CMOS
recovery
jumper
(JBAT1).

Remove
the
battery
and
then
install
the
battery.

scan
order

Set
a
SCSI
ID
for
a
controller
Notes:
1.
The
integrated
SCSI
controller
with
RAID
capabilities
in
your
computer
supports
redundant
array
of
independent
disks
(RAID).
You
can
use
the
LSI
Logic
Configuration
Utility
program
built
into
your
computer
to
configure
RAID
level
1
for
a
single
pair
of
attached
devices.
