Use
the
service
information
for
the
specific
removable
media
unit
for
an
alternate
IPL
to
analyze
the
device
failure.

item.

a
failing
Primary
partition
or
for
systems
with
only
one
partition
select
function

(Select
IPL)
on
the

panel
to
display
the
active
IPL
type.
Select

01
on
the
control
panel
and
press
Enter
to
display
the
present
IPL
mode.
2.
The
failing
CFIOP
or
IOP
may
have
a
removable
storage
I/O
adapter
FRU.
Replace
the
storage
IOA
first
using
the
STORIOA
symbolic
FRU.
