the
disk
surface
completes
for
hdisk
hard
files,
the
certify
operation
performs
2000
random-seek
operations.
Errors
are
also
counted
during
the
random-seek
operations.
If
a
disk
timeout
occurs
before
the
random
seeks
are
finished,
the
disk
needs
to
be
replaced.
The
Certify
service
aid
displays
the
following
information:
