Using the Configuration/Setup Utility
4. Select Exit Setup and press Enter.
If you changed any settings, the utility program prompts you to
confirm the changes. When you press Enter, the system restarts.
You must correctly exit from the Configuration/Setup utility
program to save the configuration information. Press Esc or move
the cursor to the Exit Setup option on the menu bar.
System Summary
Select System Summary to view information about the system,
including the type and speed of the microprocessor, amount of
memory, and the number of disk drives connected to the server.
Changes that you make on other menus are reflected on this
summary screen. You cannot edit any of the fields.
Note: The PC Server 520 comes with Error Correction Code on
SIMM (EOS) memory. EOS memory appears to the system
setup program as parity memory. However, EOS offers
increased data protection by detecting and correcting single
bit memory errors.
The System Summary choice appears on the full
Configuration/Setup menu, and also on the limited
Configuration/Setup user's menu.
Micro Channel Configuration
Select Micro Channel Configuration to view or change the
configuration of Micro Channel devices.
The Micro Channel Configuration screen appears, displaying the
status of adapters in the Micro Channel slots.
To configure a Micro Channel adapter, or to change configuration
settings on a Micro Channel adapter, the system prompts you to
insert the Reference Diskette.
The system programs Main Menu appears, and displays the
following choices.
