A change in the Micro Channel adapter configuration
occurred. This error generally occurs under one or more of
the following conditions:
A new Micro Channel adapter was installed and the
system was not reconfigured.
One or more Micro Channel adapters were removed.
One or more Micro Channel adapters were moved to a
different slot.
A Micro Channel adapter is failing and is no longer
recognized by the system as being installed.
Action:
If you just added, removed, or changed the location of an
adapter, start the server and select Yes to run the
Automatic Configuration program. Enter the
Configuration/Setup utility program. If you installed a
Micro Channel adapter, select Micro Channel
Configuration
, and follow the instructions on the screen.
If an adapter description file (ADF) is missing, the
Configuration/Setup utility program identifies the slot
number of the unidentified adapter. In that case, you will
be prompted to insert the Option Diskette.
Note: Some adapters have an additional diskette
containing the required ADF file.
If you did not add, remove, or change the location of an
adapter, an adapter probably failed. Have the system
serviced.

A hardware error occurred.
Action: Have the system serviced.

The system cover or the security cover (if you have one) has
been removed without a key being used.
Action: If an administrator password is set, you must enter
the password to clear the latch.

A hardware error occurred.
Action: Have the system serviced.

The power-on password information stored in your system
was corrupted.
Action: Restore the power-on password.
Start the Configuration/Setup utility program and select
System Security
; then select Power-on Password to set a new
power-on password.
