LEDs are located on the following parts:

At the front of the system:
– Disk drives:
- Steady green LED indicates that the drive is present but has no activity
- Blinking green LED indicates activity
- Steady amber LED indicates a problem
- 1 Hz blinking amber LED indicates identifier
- 4 Hz blinking amber LED indicates that drive is rebuilding
v
At the rear of the system:
– LAN connectors
– Power supplies: green LED indicates that power is on and functioning properly; amber LED
indicates a problem with the power supply
– PCIe adapters
Identifying the 8348-21C system that needs servicing
Use the blue identify LEDs on the front and rear panels to help you find the system that needs servicing.
Procedure

You can press the identify LED button on the front panel to turn the blue identify LEDs on the front
and rear panels on or off.
