Replacement
Attention:
Look
for
small
amounts
of
debris
on
the
connecting
surfaces
between
the
backplane
and
the
processor
card.
Mating
the
two
surfaces
is
critical
for
the
processor
to
function
properly.
1.
Gently
lift
one
end
of
the
processor
card
and
then
the
other
until
it
slides
up
and
off
of
the
contact
surface.
Place
the
top
of
the
new
processor
card
on
your
work
surface.
Carefully
remove
the
array
cover
(1)
from
the
bottom
of
the
processor
card.
Orient
the
array
cover
on
the
original
processor
card
so
that
the
side
containing
the
part
number
is
facing
the
original
processor
card.
Gently
slide
the
array
cover
over
the
contact
surface
until
it
snaps
onto
the
original
processor
card.
Put
the
original
processor
in
a
protected
area.
