The replacement system backplane is set-up for air cooling.

The heat-sink hold-down brackets on the replacement system backplane are not long enough to
properly secure the water-cooled processor cold plates. You will need to move the brackets from the
old system backplane to the new system backplane.

A jumper is set for the system backplane being air-cooled. You will need to change it to be
water-cooled.

From the new system backplane, remove the four air-cooled heat-sink hold-down brackets. Each
bracket has two screws. See Figure 148 on page 129. Set the brackets and the screws aside.
