designed
destination
slot
for
the
cleaning
cartridge.

procedure
for
each
cleaning
cartridge.

Populate
your
Library
with
Data
Cartridges
Read
before
beginning
this
step.
To
methods
are
available
for
populating
your
library
with
data
cartridges:

Bulk
loading
v
Importing
via
the
I/O
Station
Bulk
load
cartridges
into
your
library
if
the
following
criteria
is
met:
v
if
your
library
is
licensed
for
full
capacity
v
if
you
are
loading
blank
cartridges
v
if
cleaning
slots
have
been
assigned
and
hold
cleaning
cartridges
Storage
slots
are
not
assigned
consecutively
in
a
logical
library.
To
ensure
that
your
cartridges
get
placed
in
the
correct
logical
library,
import
your
data
cartridges
via
the
I/O
Station
following
the
procedure
below.
1.
Determine
the
number
of
available
storage
slots
in
each
logical
library
by
returning
to
the
Capacity
View
home
screen.
2.
Using
the
right
and
left
arrows
near
the
top
of
the
screen,
scroll
between
logical
libraries
and
make
note
of
the
number
of
storage
slots
assigned
to
each
logical
library.
3.
Load
the
I/O
Station
with
data
cartridges.
4.
Choose
the
logical
library
to
which
these
cartridges
are
to
be
assigned.
5.
Select
Operations
→
Import
Media
.
6.
Repeat
this
procedure
until
all
data
cartridges
have
been
imported
into
the
library.

Register
for
My
Support
My
Support
registration
provides
notification
from
IBM
when
new
firmware
levels
have
been
updated
and
are
available
for
download
and
installation
as
well
as
other
information
about
your
library.
