Drive
Communication
Loss
Resolution
Problem:
The
system
can
no
longer
communicate
with
a
drive
sled.
There
are
a
few
scenarios
that
can
create
this
problem.
1.
A
user
removed
a
drive
sled
2.
A
hardware
failure
that
results
in
the
drive
appearing
to
be
disconnected.
Troubleshooting
Steps:
1.
If
the
drive
was
intentionally
removed
close
this
problem.
2.
If
the
problem
occurred
during
Operation,
make
sure

was
properly
installed.
Check
the
screws
on
the
drive
to
make
sure
they
are
tight
and
the
drive
is
mounted
flush
to
the
library
chassis.
3.
Check
for
other
problems.
There
are
other
problems
such
as
T066-Drive
Power
Fuse
Blown,
that
can
cause
communication
loss.
4.
If
the
steps
above
do
not
resolve
problem,
replace
the
drive.
