These new IBM System x3690 X5 Virtualized Systems enhance the server line by
providing new levels of performance and price/performance. The IBM System x3690
X5 server features a high-density, 2U+1U mechanical platform that supports 6-core
Xeon processors, 8-core in MAX5 models, PCI-E architecture, and high-speed DDR3
memory.
IBM System x3690 X5 servers deliver additional processing, expandability, and
high-availability features. These features make them ideal for handling complex,
