Replacing the Battery Pack
Attention:
Make sure the CD-ROM tray is
closed and no CD is in the CD-ROM
drive.

Lift the handle on the CD-ROM drive with the plastic
tape, and remove the CD-ROM drive.
Some pressure might be needed to remove the CD-ROM drive
if it is tight.

Pull the battery pack toward the front of the computer; then
quickly remove the battery pack and replace it with a fully
charged spare.

Go to step 8.
Attention:
Do not press on the middle part of
the CD-ROM drive.

Reinstall the CD-ROM drive.
Make sure the CD-ROM handle snaps into place after installing
the CD-ROM drive.

Close the keyboard. The computer resumes normal operation.
If the computer does not resume normal operation, press the
Fn key.
