This feature helps isolate the problem if an error causes the engine to shut down.

POST
When you power on the NAS Gateway 300, it performs a series of tests to check
the operation of its components and some of the options installed in the NAS
Gateway 300. This series of tests is called the power-on self-test (POST).
One beep after the POST completes successfully indicates that the NAS Gateway
300 is operating correctly.
