Placing the Adapter in an Expansion Slot

Ensure that the computer is switched off and unplugged.
Refer to the computer’s instruction manual for directions on
installing adapters.

Install the adapter in any available 32-bit, PCI expansion slot
with bus master capability.
Note: Once you have installed the adapter, each time you
switch on your computer the PCI network basic input/output
system (BIOS) allocates system resources to the adapter by
assigning it configuration settings. In order to remove the
configuration settings and release the system resources, you
must remove the adapter physically from the computer.

After you have replaced all of your computer’s covers, plug
your computer’s power cord into an electrical outlet.

Network

To attach the TURBOWAYS 25 Adapter to the network, you
will need one of the cables listed in “Adapter Cables” on
page 2-4.
Connect one end of the cable to the adapter (see Figure 3-3
on page 3-4).
