Testing the water level sensor
(After S/N Starting With VC)
For machines manufactured after January 1, 2022, the
water level sensor was changed from the 3-probe sensor
to a float switch.
To test the float switch, simply check for continuity
between the to wires found in the harness connector.
•
When the float is in the down position, the switch
is closed.
•
When the float is in the up position, the switch is
open.
If the float switch tests good, check the wiring harness
for continuity.
If the float switch and the harness test good, the
problem is with the control board.
