REMOTE CONDENSER RECOVERY/EVACUATION
1. Use the 'ICE/OFF/WASH' switch to turn the ice
machine off.
2. Install manifold gauges, scale and recovery unit or
two-stage vacuum pump.
3. Open high and low side on the manifold gauge set.
4. Perform recovery or evacuation:
A. Recovery: Operate the recovery unit as
directed by the manufacturer’s instructions.
B. Evacuation prior to recharging: Pull the system
down to 500 microns. Turn off the pump and
perform a standing vacuum leak check to
ensure the micron level does not rise beyond
1,000 microns within 5 minutes.
5. Follow the Charging Procedures.
