Scanner
ICG welcome you to the
360
Colour Drum Scanner.
The
360
is developed from the revolutionary
350i
vertical drum scanner which brought professional
quality colour scanning into the desktop publishing
environment for the first time.
The
360
scanner is a compact, high quality, high
productivity drum scanner able to analyse transpar-
ent, reflection copy and negative originals up to A3
size and with an input resolution of up to 12,000
dots per inch (472.5 pixels per mm). The originals
can be colour, monochrome or linework. Several
originals can be mounted on the drum at one time.
Operator control of the scanner is by means of the
ICG Scan
Xact
user interface program running on an
Apple Power Macintosh computer system.
Picture data from the
360
is in either of two forms:
•
Low resolution images for viewing on the
Macintosh screen.
•
High resolution images stored as files on the
Macintosh hard disk ready for post-scan
processing.
RGB or fully colour corrected four-colour (CMYK)
images can be created as required.
